Material and logistics services are responsible for the Army’s supply and maintenance in the related logistics functions. Spare parts maintenance comprises spare part design, procurement, storage and distribution. We handle the transport of devices and material from the units concerned to the Millog repair shop, and from there to the customer’s preferred location. Material services cover item and product management and post-processing, including store services at SA outlets.
As part of our material and logistics services, we manage the domestic spare parts agreements of the units’ repair shops. The related operating model covers highway-ready trucks, cars, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, and other unit vehicles. We also handle the disposal of the customer’s decommissioned materials and their recycling for reuse or sale, either at an auction or an SA store.
We provide product codification services in partnership with the National Codification Bureau Finland (NIKES), based on the annual work plan or a separate order.
